By offering Geelong's 'biggest' footy tipping competition,
Addy Footy Tipping replaced the need for our readers to
consume competitors' tipping systems, earned higher section
recall for Addy Footy (sports section masthead) and the newspaper's
overall brand health benefited from interactively entertaining
readers as well as just informing them.
We can also attribute a significant increase in traffic
through our website and actual paper sales (we published
the leader board weekly) to the system.
Although we haven't yet made full use of all the customer
contact features of the site, we are comfortable in the
knowledge that it's there ready to go at the touch of a button.
Furthermore, the website was easy to use, saving precious time,
and the up-to-the-minute stats are useful for regular reporting.
